Open Roles
Chief of Staff to CEO
RXUTILITY · REMOTE · FULL-TIME
Compensation: $80–95K base + equity · Reports directly to CEO
We're recruiting for a Chief of Staff who is highly driven, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to help us scale toward a meaningful exit. You'll work directly with the CEO and drive execution on whatever needs to happen — from strategy support to sales operations to the day-to-day fires that come with a fast-growing startup. You'll turn direction into action and use your judgment on how to get there.
This is a great fit for someone highly ambitious who wants outsized ownership and ready runway to grow into a senior operating role here.
What You'll Do
- Take on whatever's breaking, slowing us down, or standing in the way of growth
- Support the CEO directly on strategic initiatives — business plans, pro formas, financial modeling, investor/board presentations
- Own our CRM and contract pipeline end-to-end: follow-ups, pipeline discipline, contract execution once a deal closes, coordination with accounting
- Run special projects start to finish — vendor evaluations, documentation, cross-functional follow-through, whatever the business needs next
- Serve as day-to-day liaison with accounting/bookkeeping; own expense tracking and invoicing
- Support client relations continuity as we transition our ops model
- Hire and onboard new team members — sourcing, interviews, paperwork, first-week logistics
- Build and automate processes wherever you can — you're our point person for AI agents and automation as we scale
- Draft communications and follow-ups in the CEO's voice using her talking points
- Manage travel and event logistics — conferences, speaking engagements, partner/prospect events
- Keep the lights on: vendor relationships, admin work, whatever needs to get done
Who You Are
- 3–5 years of experience; MBA or equivalent strong analytical/business training strongly preferred
- Driven: comfortable chasing down whatever's needed — vendors, candidates, data, answers — to get things unstuck
- Autonomous: you make most decisions yourself, don't wait for permission, and move fast
- Strong, demonstrated AI tool fluency — able to build repeatable workflows for research, drafting, and analysis, not just casual use
- Strong generalist: you want reps across strategy, sales ops, hiring, finance, and operations, not a narrow lane
- No task is beneath you: you'll manage a CRM, chase a signature, and build an AI workflow in the same week
- Excellent, proactive communicator: you flag problems and status before being asked, not after
- Strong writer, able to convincingly draft in someone else's voice
- CRM experience required (HubSpot, GoHighLevel, or similar)
- Comfortable with sales funnel data (conversion, signups, churn) to help drive priorities and follow-ups
- High discretion with confidential financial, personal, and business information
